HYPERVAN has officially certified our main pressure vessel for field use.
ASME and PVHO certifications are critical milestones for safely and reliably producing a replicable article at scale. This was a two phase process which encompasses a hydro test, where the vessel is filled to capacity with water, checking for buckling and leaks under a mass load which it would never encounter in real world use. This is followed by a pressure test, where the water is drained and replaced by highly compressed air which exceeds the normal operating load to ensure all welds and fixtures remain intact under stress.

The test criteria were as follows:
Initial dive to optimal operating depth of 3.0 ATA (66 feet / 30 psi)
Increased dive to exceeded depth of 4.0 ATA (99 feet / 42 psi)
All results passed beyond expectations and the vessel outperformed in all major categories. The test data also revealed fabrication points which could further be reenforced for greater efficiency and rigidity.
